ICBC C.A.R VALET shops can help with transportation while your vehicle is being repaired. If you drop off your vehicle, we can provide you with a ride home or to your workplace and pick you up to collect your vehicle upon repair completion. Alternatively, we have a small fleet of courtesy cars available and work with insurance and rental companies to make sure you have a vehicle to drive if necessary. Being a C.A.R VALET, we are certified to asses damages and complete your estimate on-site, that saves you the step of going into the claims center

Took my car in for ICBC claim at the end of 2023. When I picked my car up it had a ding which was not there when I took my car in. They said bring it back to take a look. They denied doing any damage and showed me the intake pictures.The pictures were taken from ten feet away and you couldn’t see if the ding was there or not. She zoomed in on the picture and said it’s right there, I couldn’t see any ding.Also sanded a flat spot on my door trim. I didn’t want to take my car back to get the trim fixed after they put a ding on my car. On June 6 I made a one star review. Within ten minutes I got a call from Jans. I explained what happened and they said bring it back in. When I got there he looked at it and said it shouldn’t be a problem to fix the ding and they would fix the trim for sure also told me he couldn’t find the intake pictures. I have waited three weeks and haven’t heard from them so now my one star review is back. I will NOT take my car back here. I have decided to just live with the bad repair.I would not recommend this shop.

My car needed some pretty extensive repairs so I phoned around to see who could get my vehicle in fairly fast and Jan’s was it. Not only did they get my car in fast but I was updated on the status of my car when it was in their care. I got a call maybe just over a week and a half later that my car was ready. They were friendly and explained all the work that was done. They remained open long enough for me to pick up my car that night and it was returned in even better condition than when it was brought in. Fully detailed inside and out. (Manager contacted us and got the orange peel issue resolved, Manager was very helpful and assured us that they would fix any problems that would come up with the repair. But the staff wasn’t very nice to us, but hopefully there are no more issues with the repairs from now. Although I wish I could give a higher rating, dealing with the staff before the manger was very unpleasant and me and my dad will never forget this experience we received. We also noticed some overspray in the door sill of the vehicle, we bought the vehicle back in October of 2024, the car had a icbc claim on it for a rear repair damage but the car was not written off. When we got the car there was no overspray on the door sill, why would I use all my savings on this car if it wasn’t repaired properly in the first place. Anyway so I noticed there was overspray in the door sill area after the initial repair. I told Jans about it and the second I brought it for getting the paint work done they said that would take care of it. And then when we got the car back it was still rough from overspray. Despite our efforts in proving that the overspray was not there before, Icbc said that oh it’s from before. The dealership where I had purchased the vehicle says that when they inspected the vehicle they did not notice any overspray. I fixed the issue myself by wet sanding it and giving it a polish. The staff at jans told me that they need to take off the door and repaint the entire thing again. It literally took me 15 minutes to fix it. So this just shows how much the staff knows about cars. Anyway when we went to fix the orange peel problem the same staff who was “helping” us with the overspray issue started like showing off that they were right and we were wrong. She rubbed it in our faces and it was horrible. We were shocked by her attitude and yeah we were left speechless. We don’t ever want to deal with these guys again.)Horrible job. My dad had his 2021 Mazda Cx-5 Signature repaired here. Originally the car was hit in December and it was repaired in January. First issue was they forgot to put a clip back on and there was a rattle coming from the door, no big deal though, but then about a month and half later the areas where they had painted started to bubble up, it took them until the end of April to get his car back into the shop. We got the car back about 2 weeks ago. And now there’s ORANGE PEEL on an area, this is just horrible workmanship, no care for quality, it’s just horrible. I can understand the first time something like that can happen but now the orange peel in that small area. Hopefully this issue can be resolved, but I just want them to fix my dad’s car properly one time. Throughout my life I have been through many body shops, and this has to be the worst one yet hands down. Ruined my dad’s new car.

Avoid this place at ALL costs, my car has more problems from their repair then the actual vehicle accident, one piece of trim has been on “back order” for 8 ‘months. it’s not even covid anymore, nothing takes 8 months to arrive…..I’ve called, I’ve went in, and I’ve been told the same thing over and over again, “Riley will call you”, “we’ll compensate you”……it’s been 8 months! and not a single call! I’m pretty sure the “back ordered” part hasnt even been ordered..And don’t even get me started on the old guy that works there, they way he treats customers should have been the first instinct to avoid this place

I trusted the team at Jan’s to repair a gouge on my brand new Silverado ZR2 when an underground parking gate unexpectedly came down and scraped the roof of the truck.Guy, my main estimator, explained the proper repair process (i.e., not like cheaper shops that use bondo.) Travis was the autobody specialist who brought my truck back to its original glory. If I could give this business 6 stars I would!! I had a very stressful situation with my car turn into something that I didn’t have to worry about.The staff were lovely and so helpful. My car was spotless on the inside and out when I got it back! I can’t say enough great things about Jan’s auto.If you ever find yourself needing a body shop to take your car to, this is the place!

I went to their second location on 200A Street in Langley and the service was amazing. Dropped my truck off on Monday and the body work repairs were completed on Thursday. They detailed my entire truck including the interior. I would highly recommend them to everyone

Amazing service from the front end to the back end staff . Dealt with my ICBC claim, arranged a rental car & I only had to wait for a few minutes for it to arrive. I couldn’t be more thrilled with the helpful and timely service of this auto body shop…. the “other guys” wouldn’t even fit me in for an estimate for weeks. Jan’s had my estimate done the day I called and had the repair done asap. My new car was back to looking perfect before I would have even had an estimate at the other places I called. Hands down, BEST experience ever. I called numerous places to get my car fixed after some horrible human decided to hit and run my bumper. I reached out to Jan’s, went for a visit with my ICBC claim number in hand and got to meet Heather, my estimator. She made the experience flawless. Explained the next steps, kept me in the loop and was extremely thorough. They arranged to have Enterprise pick me up, got me in a rental that morning and called me two days later when my car was all fixed. My car hasn’t looked better! I’m so impressed with the quality of workmanship, how shiny my black car was repaired and how everyone I interacted with at Jan’s was so great. There’s a reason why they have such high ratings! I had to get some work done on my Hyundai. First went to “Fix” in Langley and the 2 men in the office didn’t get off their chairs to come to the counter. After a disappointing experience there, I went to Jan’s. From the minute I arrived until I picked up my vehicle I was treated with Amazing service and quality work. While I hope I don’t have to visit again, I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in need of Auto Repair.

*** Editing my review – After I left my original review Shaun from Jan’s reached out to me, they were quick at solving my concerns below. They have fixed the window tint as of Nov 10th. I am now happy with the work completed on my truck. I can only revise my review to three stars because it took my review to get the work completed.All the reviews for Jan’s were awesome so I decided to take my truck there. However, my experience has not been great. My truck went in for repairs in Aug and I received a used back window which was not the issue. The issue is two huge scratches are visible on the window and the tint has huge horrible holes in it. When I picked my truck up the repair guy said “I thought you could just color it in with a marker”. The other issue is they didn’t clean the back bed of my truck and left pieces of glass and metal for me to clean. I discussed the issues with my ICBC rep and was told to call Jan’s Auto so I did. In Sept 2023 Jan’s told me they would replace the tint and clean the box of my truck, we are now on Nov 7th and I have not heard anything about an appointment. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Unbelievable experience! I needed to install a front license plate, so I called 15 minutes ahead to see if they could assist. They told me to come right over. Once I arrived at the shop, they promptly installed it. Everyone who assisted me was incredibly friendly. When I asked about the cost, they told me it was free, which was a pleasant surprise! After getting into a fender bender with our van I found it hard to book into a place to get it fixed. A friend told me about Jan’s and I’m glad I gave them a call. They have good customer service and they were happy to answer all my questions regarding the repairs and how the process works with ICBC. So I would never use this shop for ICBC claims, or any work. Unless you enjoy wasting your time and gas. I was called yesterday saying my car was ready I was not able to come which was fine very nice about it. This morning I the customer call to see if it will be ready, just making sure as I understand things happen the lady has me in hold said yes it is ready I drive all the way there 4 min away from the destination and am told there is a error code on that actually needs to be fixed. What a waste of time and gas. Still have not even seen the car horrible customer service be aware of how your experience may go.After the owner knew about this issue it was rectified very fast as you can tell from the edit in less the 4 hours the car was fixed he even had them deliver my car to my house fill the tank back to what it needed to be at and delivered the car to enterprise for me.The did forget the paper work but said it would be emailed to me later today.It’s nice to see this company admit fault and make you whole could not ask for a better resolve.So I would never use this shop for ICBC claims, or any work.
